Jumper's Knee

What is Jumper's #Knee?

A condition that causes pain in the band of tissue that connects the kneecap to the shin bone. Commonly seen in children and also occurs in young #sports #athletes that require repetitive #jumping, #running, #walking or #cycling.

What are the common symptoms?

- Pain just below or above your# kneecap

- Pain when ascending staircase

- Pain when trying to get up from a #squat


How does this happen?

These activities put repeated stress on the kneecap tendon and cause it to get inflamed.
